Evening League Coordinators (Part-Time Evening Position)

JOB DESCRIPTION
This is a unique opportunity to join a small, successful business. You will wear many hats, as you develop and broaden your skill sets both in-office and out in the field.
- Marketing and promotion of league, tournaments and events to potential new members (i.e. postering, emails, flyers, hand outs, etc)
- Promote upcoming leagues, events and tournaments to our member-base during league games
- Train new fair-play monitors
- Manage and host Special Events, including tournaments and parties
- Cover shifts for Event Coordinators as needed – including the following responsibilities:
    o set up equipment
    o monitor games
    o communicate with facility staff
    o interact with members
- Other projects and duties as required from time to time.

UNIQUE WORKING HOURS
This role is an evening position 5:00pm to 11:00pm, typicallys Sundays thru Thursdays

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Athletic and sports-minded.
- You are positive, enthusiastic and have an endless supply of energy.
- Strengths in planning, problem solving and decision-making.
- You enjoy working with numbers and your attention to detail is high.
- An entrepreneurial spirit in terms of both creativity and work ethic. You are willing to take chances, and let your results do the speaking.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new things quickly.
- A valid driver’s license and car (essential).
- University or College Degree completed or in process of completing. Marketing, Business and/or Sports Administration is an asset.
- Fluent in French

General Manager South Shore  
General Overview:
Club Rive Sud is looking for a general manager.
This is an exciting full-time career opportunity to be a part of Rive Sud’s largest sports and social organization.
The General Manager has a lot of responsibility as he or she will be in charge of all facets of our business.
The three main focuses will be:
1. Plan and organize sales and marketing endeavours
2. Develop and manage our core business and expansion projects
3. Implement targets and structure to our organization.

Start date: To be determined

Hours: Full-time hours (40-44 per week). Weeknight or weekend work can be offset by time-off during weekdays.

Remuneration: base + commission

Responsibilities:
- Develop annual calendar of events and leagues and be in charge of executing it
- Plan all details relating to each Tournament and Party
- Process and organize our growth
- Hire and manage staff
- Manage events by personally attending
- Develop and maintain sponsor relationships
- Collaborate in making improvements and changes to CMSS programs, policies and procedures
- Develop partnership
- Establish and be responsible for achieving targets

Experience:
- University degree
- 3 to 5 year of work experience in related management role
- Event planning, fund raising or sports management experience a plus
- High level of computer competence an asset
- Organization and leadership experience

Qualifications:
- Outgoing and socially skilled
- Enjoy hosting events
- Flexible with work schedule
- Extremely organized
- Bilingual, mother tongue French a plus
- Strong time management skills
- Communicator: written and oral

Fair Play Monitors  

We're looking for spunky people to work evenings!  You got a free night once or twice a week?  Meet people, make some money and have fun on the job. As a Fair Play Monitor, your mandate will be to welcome teams, watch them play and inform them on CMSS' activities. Make our members' experience a memorable one!

Soccer Referees  

Club Montreal Sport & Social is currently looking for soccer referees passionate to practice their skills.

Ideal candidates are bilingual (French and English mandatory) university students to work within our company for one season (renewable contract).
You have to be available to work the same evenings for the entire season, with a car and a cell phone.

Are you bilingual, loud, outgoing and fun? We need you as our Master of Ceremony for our next season party!
Develop the party program that includes games and contests to make the party memorable.
